Hey fellas, this is my first post here and this may be a dumb question, so bear with me. First off, great site.....been reading it for a year or more, but this is the first time I've needed a little help. So here's the question, what do you guys do when you have a large amount of pork butt to pull with very little help and even less time? I believe that I've seen a machine that, supposedly, will pull it for you. Just wondering if any of you use or have had experience with one of these, and just exactly what it is called. Thanks for the help.

I use a mini cement mixer when I'm behind, or have a big crowd to feed in a hurry
In all seriousness it don't take long to pull a bucket load of pork butts... put some gloves on and you can do a lot of damage, poundage wise, in a really short period of time.. pulling while hot helps you out tremendously.. get ya some good bio hazard glove , I'm serious, and you wont even feel the heat

Ditto what bobber said. My wife got me some of these and they are awesome. It is overkill for the 2 or 3 butts max I normally cook, but you could tear through a huge number of butts easily with gloves like this or like Bobber suggested. http://www.amazon.com/Steven-Raichlen-Best-Barbecue-SR8037/dp/B0007ZGURK

Bear paws work pretty good but are kind of slow if pulling alot at one time.

Hobart Buffalo choppers work well but even used they can be spendy. Watch the auctions for any operation that made their own cole slaw as this is the more common use for this particular Hobart machine. Good luck.

I see it as a perfect opportunity to justify the purchase of a commercial weedeater. In the off season it turns into a pork chopper/puller. |

I like the idea Hooch had throw them at the wall and let them self shred.
Or in line with Forrest use a commercial tree chipper.

Or maybe a chainsaw, and you could put your sauce in the oil tank and just keep feeding the sauce as you are tearing through.

I was thinking bout make a hoist for my lawn mower.... kinda lower it on top of a big ole pile of heavenly porky type stuff... guess I'd have to work in the bag, or chute, or maybe even an attachement directly to the foodsaver... anyone round here a structural engineer with a degree in Rube Goldburgism I might be on to sumtin here

I knew I shouldn't have eaten that midnight snack. Although at the time I figured it could only hurt my figure.
