Welcome aboard Jay! I guess you'll pretty much hang around anybody won't ya?

Glad you're here. I'm sure we'll cross paths somewhere - maybe Tallahasse if you make it over there.

Thanks for the warm welcome, apparently getting warmer on Friday. I'll be waiting for your call Jay, I'm all set and ready to go. Walt, I already marked my calender...plan on a tag along on that weekend!! Chris, we'll have to meet one of these days soon considering we live within a few miles of eachother. Maybe I can finally get your opinion of the rib rub I mentioned on SoWal.com (Jychf). I'll apologize now for not logging on too often for the next week or so, we're moving and I'm sure everyone knows how much of a joy that is.

Hi everybody!

I'm Bruce, from Texas, the Dallas area. I'm an electrician, for 17 years now. I've been barbecuing for about 6 years, since a few months after my wife and I bought our house. And I'm 36 years old.

I love some barbecue, but don't to do it as much as I'd like. (My wife doesn't care for smokey stuff too often. She likes grilled stuff more.) I also have several other hobbies, see my profile for those.

I'll be lurking around, trying to learn some more. And I'll be doing some cooking this weekend. I came up with a damn good rub a couple of weeks ago that I need to use some more.

See y'all around!!

Hello All I'm New to the smoking world Looking for alittle help. Bought me one of those Brinkmann 40's. I'm a pro at grilling but this is a little different, I'm noticing. I'm 39 going on 27 and live in tampa fl area. I think I have got everything smoking wood, lump, pork butt's. I want to cook two butts and looking for a new rub to put on second one. Would be open to any suggestions. BTW love the Forum

What do you do. Civil/Survey CAD drafting and IT stuff
How long have you been cooking? 8 years...for family and friends mostly
How old are you? 43 but still get carded
And anything else you wouldn't mind sharing. Love RV camping - park in the middle of them all and get the smoke going....great way to meet people and then take donations for food...pays for my stay as well as the food every time!
