I'm partial to Rosedale myself. My favorite was the gas station at 199th and Metcalf (Stilwell Station) but I heard they stopped smoking meats. I'd also tip my hat to Fritz's smokehouse, but more for the jerky than anything else.
There's lots of good Q here. I would say avoid Smoke Box at 135th and Metcalf tho... almost as bad as the old KC Masterpiece.
You know I might actually go to the Smoking Guns since you said that. They have burnt ends on tap all the time, sounds like a plan.
