Just wanted to let everyone know that we have secured a title sponsor for next year's contest and we plan to host the contest at the same location and time. (Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL / July 27-28 2012) There will be more details to come but for now I wanted to give everyone a heads up as you begin to make your plans for the 2012 BBQ Season that the Smokin' On the Suwannee BBQ Festival presented by Everglades Seasoning is going to be one you don't want to miss! I will send out specifics after the first of the year.

My plans are to cook mostly FBA contests in 2012.

FYI- we are in the process of constructing a new website. It's just in the initial stages but should be fully functional within the next month. One of the main reasons for the website is to not only convey information to everyone and advertise for our sponsors but to make it very easy for both cook teams and judges to register online. Cook teams will be able to pay using pay pal and any judge that submits an online app will be entered into our database and will also receive a generated response. Once judges are selected, their names will be listed on the website. Also, all confirmed cook teams will be listed as well. This is a work in progress but the link is operational already, although not much is there...lol. There is also a link on the new link to the old website.
