What the H*** is this all about? Do they have one of those right to defend laws, like in Florida, in Michigan? Hope so! Bet all these DNR a**holes are moonlighting Chicago cops! Wouldn't think a Michigan citizen would do something like this.

SELDOM DEFEND THE STATES RIGHTS TO INVADE CITIZENS PRIVATE PROPERTY ..BUT.. MICHIGAN LIKE MANY STATES HAS BEEN INVADED BY FERREL PIGS (PIGS LOST TO THE WILD BECAUSE OF INADEQUATE FENCING ETC.) PIG HUNTING HAS NOT KEPT UP WITH THE PROLIFERATION OF FERREL ANIMALS. STATE HAS ENACTED LAWS TO CONTAIN THESE ANIMALS.. BY THE SAME GUYS ( DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES) WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT AND AND IN MANY CASES, FRAGILE OR ENDANGERED ECOSYSTEMS. THE UNFORTUNATE GUYS STAFFING THIS GREEN BASED LAWS HAVE NOW BEEN TURNED INTO ECHO COPS. MICHIGAN FOLKS ARE VERY MUCH GREEN AND SUPPORT THE ENDING OF FERREL PIGS. WE ALL GET OUR RIGHTS STEPPED ON ..HELL THATS HOW I FEEL WHEN PAYING TAXES.WHICH SUPPORT MANY THINGS I WOULD RATHER NOT. BUT ..THE QUESTION IS ARE WE HERE FOR THE GREATER GOOD OR FOR OURSELVES.?? MANY WOUD SAY OURSELVES AS I HAVE MY SELF..I SAY WE SHOULD BE MAD FOR SENDING YOUNG MEN TO SLAUGHTER IN WARS .. SOME SAY ITS PIGS THEY ARE UPSET ABOUT.. I STAND FOR THE PITCHER PLANTS AND IVORY BILLED WOODPECKERS.. CLEAN AIR FOR OUR KIDS, CLEAN WATER FOR THE PIGLETS TO DRINK AND EDUCATION SO WE MAY FIND OTHER WAYS TO END OUR DIFFERENCES WITHOUT DRAWING GUNS..

Controlling ferrel is one thing. They go and cull deer in Illinois - believe meat is processed and donated to food banks. Believe there is bounty on coyote at certain times and certain areas. Natural News makes it sound as if DNR is forcing legitimate farmers to destroy their pigs and meat is going to waste. I agree 100% with everything that you said. Who is right?

I LIVE ON A LAKE IN MICHIGAN WHERE THE NORTHERN PIKE ARE SO BIG AND FEROCIOUS THAT AN ANNUAL FISHING TOURNAMENT HAS BROUGHT STATE RECORDS TO OUR FISHERY ON SANFORD LAKE. YOU CAN ALWAYS TELL WHEN THE FISH ARE LARGE PREDATORS BY THE ABSENCE OF DUCKS AND GEESE UPON THE WATER. SANFORD LAKE IS APPROX 9 MILES LONG AND HAVE SELDOM SEEN OTHER THAN MIGRATING GEESE LAND AND SWIFTLY LEAVE.. DUCKS HAVEN'T BEEN SEEN OTHER THAN AS ABOVE ALSO. GREAT FISH TO MOUNT ON THAT TROPHY WALL. SHOULD USE A GOSLING AS BAIT ..

Cool! When I was a kid, my folks would take us to Pymatuming Resevoir, on the Ohio / Pennsylvania border to feed the carp. Thousands of massive carp congregating at a little spillway and people come from all over to feed them. Carp so thick that ducks and geese will actually walk on their backs to get their share of the bread. We've been taking my grandson and great-nieces for the last couple of years. Penn State now has a hatchery and research center at the site. First time we went a couple of years ago, we stopped at a bakery thrift store to buy bread, Dad and I walked in and came out a couple minutes later without any bread, wife asked if they were out of bread and we said no that we had bought a whole baker's rack, she thought we were nuts when wre pulled around back and started dumping trays of bread into the trunk, we now buy 2 racks and will spend 3 or 4 hours at Pymatuming. Kids have a lot of fun but we enjoy it to!
