My 9 y/o son grilled a tri-tip for the family tonight on the Weber, he checked doneness by pressing the meat and verified it with the Thermapen. He did a great job, it's his first venture outside of hot dogs and chicken wings on the grill!

Tried to teach my son, but he listened to his girlfriend instead. The last time "they" cooked for us, she was using both hands and leaning in to squash the last bit of juice out of some burgers.
