Ok, Looks a lil slow on here.....
I've been watching but not talking and I'm changing that now.

I want to experiment with peaches.
My questions:
Cut in halves, quarters, or what?
then skin up or down first?
To flip, or not to flip?
sugar, brown sugar, or what have you tried?

Damn, I miss you guys!

Billy,
Slurpy was the best word to describe it. I had ma and the boy over for supper last nite and made em again. I quarted them. Put em over the fire on the grill this time and used my hand torch to carmelize the brown sugar over the top.
OMG I found love!

Carl, I cut them in half, cook skin up then flip and add a touch of honey and cinnamon on the cut side. Plums are good.

LET ME ADD THIS. VEGETABLES THAT YOU MAY NOT THINK OF GRILLING ARE VERY GOOD..TRY THIS GROUP.WITH YOUR FAVORITE SQUIRT OF OLIVE OIL AND DUSTING OF DRY RUB .. LOVE ACORN SQUASH BUTTERNUT SQUASH, HUBBARD SQUASH IN THIN SLICES AS ABOVE. SIMPLY GRILL FOR A FEW MINUTES AMAZINGLY SIMPLE AND WONDERFUL TASTE. THESE VEGGIES ARE EXTRA GOOD FOR THE KIDS (OR PARENTS) WITH SMEAR OF BUTTER AND A SPRINKLING OF CINNAMON SUGAR .. TRY THIS W/MUSHROOMS..IF YOU HAVE EVER GRILLED THEM WHOLE YOU'LL FIND THEY ARE LIKE HERDING CATS ... A WOODEN SKEWER THROUGH SEVERAL KEEPS EM IN ORDER AND MAKE FOR MORE EFICIENT USE OF GRILL SPACE. BECAUSE MUSHROOMS WILL SOAK A LOT OF BUTTER OR OIL I OFTEN BOBBLE THEM AROUND IN A SMALL BOWL OF THE STUFF BEFORE PUTTING ON THE GRILL, LINED UP ON A SKEWER. IF YOU HAVE TIME AND INCLINATION, A MUSHROOM WAS MADE TO BE WRAPPED WITH BACON .USE THAT SAME OIL SKEWER FOR A TASTY BUNCH. BESIDES BUTTON MUSHROOMS TRY WOODEARS, PORTABELLOW SLICES AND THE LIKE . THEY ALL BENEFIT FROM A FEW MINUTES ON A GOOD CHARCOAL FIRE.. .
