Toby Shea, organizer and chairman of British Barbecue Society, Dave Browning, Jeremy Fowler, Andy Annat, and Jackie Weight who won the Jack Daniel’s World Championship in the past. (Not pictured: Terry Greenhouse.)
Three of the team members have already competed at the World Championships in America in 2007, and this year they get to go again as the country winners for Great Britain. ?The same three also have their own barbecue interests: ?Jeremy with www.seriouslybbq.com whose team also provided a sampling stand for the general public on this contest; Andy with www.Balzingbarbecues;  and Terry with www.texaspulledpig.com.

Rocky Danner, who flew in from the States, was instrumental in both team and competitor briefings and helped the organizer oversee the contest yet declined to judge the Finals as he indicated he had too many friends to lose.?
