NEW YORK, June 17, 2010 — Did someone say road trip? The Big Apple Barbecue Block Party is heading west! Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events and Blue Smoke are joining forces with the beloved Little Nell hotel for the first-ever Big Aspen Barbecue Block Party. Join us at the base of Aspen Mountain Saturday & Sunday, August 28 – 29, 2010, for an unforgettable weekend of mouthwatering barbecue, music and festivities.
The sister event of New York City’s acclaimed barbecue extravaganza, the Big Aspen Barbecue Block Party will feature several of the nation’s top pitmasters serving up their ’cue (for $8 per plate) all weekend long against the beautiful backdrop of Aspen Mountain; plus live music, seminars, cooking demos and book signings with the ’cue experts – ALL FREE.
